1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, registering, or subscribing to GBpass ("Application", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must stop using the Application.

2. Service Operator

The Application is developed and maintained by an independent software service operator ("Operator") serving users internationally. The Operator is not a licensed financial institution, cybersecurity provider, or escrow service, and does not provide financial, security, or custodial services.

Customer support is provided exclusively via email.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old or of legal age to enter into a contract in your area.
  • The Application is not intended for children under 13.
  • A valid email address is required to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.
  • You agree to provide accurate and lawful information.

4. Subscription & Billing

  • The Application offers paid subscription plans.
  • All payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are processed through the applicable app store (such as Google Play or Apple App Store).
  • Subscription terms are governed by the policies of the respective app store.
  • The Operator does not store or process payment card information.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Application for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the Service.
  • Interfere with system security or performance.

You are solely responsible for keeping your master password and recovery information safe.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property related to the Application, including software, design, and content, is owned by the Operator. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Application for personal use only.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Application is subject to the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Operator makes no warranties, whether express or implied, regarding reliability, availability, or suitability for any particular purpose.

Because the Application uses encryption that prevents us from viewing your data, the Operator cannot recover lost master passwords or encrypted vault data. You accept full responsibility for securely managing your master password and recovery information.

The Operator does not provide legal, security, or professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
  • Service interruptions beyond reasonable control.
  • Loss of access to encrypted data due to forgotten credentials or user error.

In areas where liability limitations are restricted, liability shall be limited to the maximum extent allowed by local law. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

The Operator may reject complaints that are abusive, repetitive, malicious, or submitted for competitive interference purposes. Complaints must include enough detail for a reasonable review.

10. International Use

The Application is intended for global use. You are responsible for following applicable local laws in your area.

11. Regional Legal Notices

Singapore

Personal data is handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

United States (including California & New York)

Users' privacy rights are respected in accordance with applicable U.S. privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).

United Kingdom & Australia

Personal data is processed in line with accepted data protection principles aligned with UK GDPR and the Australian Privacy Act.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
